2005: One of the team's
leading wide receivers, who has the ability to make big plays and
rack up a lot of yardage in a hurry.
2004: Played in 13 of
the team's 14 games. Caught 52 passes for 602 yards and 14 touchdowns,
with the longest reception being 42 yards. Fifth on the team in
scoring with 84 points and posted 16.5 tackles on the defensive
end.
High School : Lewis
was a finalist for Kentucky 's 2000 Mr. Football award, after he
passed for 1,551 yards and ran for 519 more as a quarterback at
Mason County High School . Lewis was also an AP first team all-state
selection at defensive back as a senior, as he led Mason County
to a 9-3 record. Named to the Lexington Herald-Leader's "Class
of the Commonwealth" team in 2000, he was also chosen as the Kentucky
2A Player of the Year that season. Lewis finished his high school
career with 3,801 total yards and 54 touchdowns. He signed with
North Carolina , where he was redshirted before transferring to
Louisville .
